Every couple of months I get an email from someone pitching me a new service that’s TOTALLY going to CHANGE the way I read queries and ONLY SHOW ME GUARANTEED BESTSELLERS. I, unfortunately, think all or most publishing start-ups are doomed, but the ones that want to act like a middleman for queries are the worst.
