Friends!
I got my edit letter for my book this week. When it arrived, I was still in the throws of jetlag from our vacation and I didn’t open it right away. Later, I skimmed it just to make sure it didn’t say well, we have our work cut out for us… but I also knew it wouldn’t say that. Since it, and the edited manuscript, came in, I’ve been a little jumpy and anxious because I know the amount of work this will be, on top of what I already have to do, and May is always a busy month, not to mention June, wherein the end-of-the-school-year events seem to be more numerous than end-of-the-year-school days, and and and and. Shit is getting real. But I calmed my nerves and knew that after I looked at the letter and the edited manuscript I would take a little time to see what I had to do and then I would do it. And then all my other stuff, too. There’s no other way it happens.
So, what did my edit letter say?
