D asks: Last Fall, I got a full request from Agent Frank (not real name). This February, Frank emailed me and said the book wasn't up his alley, so he referred it to his colleague, Agent Rebecca (not real name). Frank said that Rebecca read my manuscript, but unfortunately was going to pass. As a courtesy, though, Frank copied and pasted Rebecca's feedback on my novel in the body of the email.
