Hello Friends,
I know it doesn’t make any sense, but September always feels like the halfway point in the year. Yes, yes, I know it’s the three quarter point, but just go with me here. I basically close my eyes and cover my ears from January to March, then it’s Spring and that’s great, then it’s SUMMER and that’s BETTER and then school starts (even if you’re not in school anymore) and that’s the real start to the year. In my mind, September is a corner you turn as you climb back up to January.

Thanks. I learned a lot today. I'm waiting on feedback from my first six chapters. The beginnings are so hard, the rest of the book beta read over 20ish times and some loved my openings others didn't or thought it dragged. It's frustrating and costly and I am almost about to give up. I know you must have a post somewhere, but what do you expect to see in the first five or ten pages?
