Over the last thirty years, I've started four novels. I thought it was about time I finished one, so I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year! I've written 25,000 words! And I needed to read this today. Thank you!
So, literally, right before this came into my inbox, -- maybe 10 minutes -- I had a rejection from an agent who'd had my partial for a while, who I really had a good feeling about. This has been such a largely discouraging year. And considering that last year I hit a big age milestone without having any career success . . . yeah. Thank you for this.
