My mother (published author of twenty or so books, copy writer/editor in various roles in her career) always corrects my grammar. Especially in tweets where she can dig me in front of thousands of followers and take special glee in it, but also on my Patreon, Facebook posts, articles I've published etc. I once misspelled my own middle name in a tweet and she totally called me out on it.
People always say: "Don't have your mother be your primary beta reader." Which, for most people, is probably true. But my mother? The professional author, copyeditor, grammarian? Super harsh ;) ... and thus a pretty fantastic beta reader ;)
Kindle now has a great way to scratch the copy editing itch. You can highlight errors and hit "report content error."
