R asks: I have an unusual publishing question that I'm scratching my head over. A couple of years ago, I did some prose work-for-hire for a major film studio which added up to a solid payday. It was a big surprise since my publications are mostly short stories. At the time, a friend introduced me to his film agent, who helped me handle the contracts.
