Why You Should Always Start with Chapter 1
What do you recommend as a submission length when the agent requests chapters but the book doesn't contain chapter breaks?
I say 50ish, or wherever there is a really good break in the story, whichever is less. And if your really good break is on page 53, it's ok to send that. Remember there are humans on the other end of the submission, not automatons. :)
